The training to become a social assistant combines a vocational qualification with a secondary school leaving certificate (MSA) and is the ideal entry point for anyone wishing to work in the social and care sector. As a qualified and state-recognized training program, it forms the basis for working in the care and support of children, people with disabilities, or elderly people. At the same time, successful completion allows direct entry into training to become an educator .

Duration: 2 years of training (including 3 internships, e.g. in kindergartens, care facilities and social services)
Qualification: State-certified social assistant + possibly intermediate school leaving certificate (MSA)

- It is important that your part-time job does not affect your study time or training progress.
We recommend looking for your part-time job in an area that is ideally linked to your training, such as care, nursing or social work. This can also give you valuable practical experience.
