CarePlus 2.0 is specifically designed for mothers with a migration background. Here you can improve your German to a solid B1 level and learn everything you need for working in the care sector. We understand that your child needs childcare – that's why classes take place during daycare and school hours. At the end of the course, you'll receive many important certificates for your job: a basic care certificate, a first aid certificate, a health card, and DDA course certificates. German B1 certificate

Communication is the most important thing in everyday life and at work with people. That's why we prepare you intensively for the telc German exam B1. This German certificate is recognized everywhere and opens many professional doors for you.

You get a laptop

At CarePlus, you'll also learn how to use laptop programs to participate in classes online, prepare your application portfolio, and apply for jobs and apprenticeships. We'll lend you a laptop free of charge for this purpose.

If you want to improve your German to B1 level and learn a profession that involves working with people, you've come to the right place.
In 12 months you can work as a culturally sensitive care assistant and everyday helper in hospitals or senior citizens' homes.

The training is 100% free for you if you receive an education voucher from the Federal Employment Agency or Job Center. We'll gladly show you how to get your education voucher.

This is what you will learn in the further training:

✅ Basic nursing skills for working with elderly people

✅ German for professional purposes at B1 level

✅ Use the computer for job searching

✅ You gain your first professional experience in an internship - we support you during this time.

Days: Monday to Friday
Lesson times Module 1: 08:50 - 13:55
Lesson times Module 2: from 08:50 - 14:50.

You don't have to come to school during the holidays.

3 times a week at Brunnenstraße 110d in Berlin-Gesundbrunnen.
Twice a week in the online classroom. We'll show you how to log in with your new laptop.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I have to go to school during the holidays?

    During the holidays, you do not have to come to school in person. You will either have no classes or the classes will take place online.

  • I have to take my child to and from daycare/school. Do I have enough time to do this?

    Our class times are daycare- and school-friendly. Classes always start at 8:50 a.m. and end at 1:55 p.m. for the first module. You can always drop your child off at daycare/school and pick them up on time.

    In the second module, classes end at 2:50 p.m. Even then, there's still time to pick up your child from daycare/school.

  • Can I work straight after completing the training?

    Yes, after completing your training, you can work directly in nursing. There are many job openings for nursing assistants in Berlin.

  • How much money can I earn after completing my training as a nursing assistant?

    The statutory minimum wage for nursing assistants will increase to €16.10 per hour on July 1, 2025. This means that you will earn at least €2,790.67 per month in a full-time position.

    However, many employers also pay you more than the minimum wage and pay you more at Christmas or if you work on certain days.
